Facebook Fan Page or Business Pages
Which Do You Prefer?

I posted this question on facebook because I wondered what people thought about using the word “Fan Page” when they are trying to attract clients to their “Business Page”.

When you are building your social media connections, your social networking community, how do you think people respond to the term… “Facebook Fan Page”? Do you think it matters?

DO PEOPLE REALLY CARE?

And…

What do you think is more attractive to your customers? …

    1) “Join our fan page,” or

    2)”Visit our Business Page”

hmmmmmmm…..

What do you think? Watch the video above to hear what others are saying.

And as always, we love to hear from you! So, please post your comments below and share you thoughts! :)

I think it depends on what your blogging focus is at the time. What I mean is, my first blog would focus more on giving information, building relationships (with common cause people)and trust. Therefore I think “Join our fan page” would be more personal and doesn’t turn people away thinking my only intent of having them as a fan is to sell them something. On this blog, the focus will not be to sell “my fans anything” but to give them information and tools they will need in my niche. My income will be later when my “fan” count is great enough to attract advertisers (for my income).

Good points, Kathy… and welcome as a new member to our coaching program. We are so glad you have joined us and look forward to helping you create an awesome blog!

I have to agree 100%… too many times we tend to focus on the outcome, the money, rather than how we can serve others in the highest way possible.

We will have some very interesting guests and one very energetically aligned special guest (which we will be announcing soon) on our bonus calls. This will really shed light on how important it is to become an ATTRACTION magnet and why this can make or break your business.

You comments are dead on and I thank you for posting it!

I tend to agree with Kathy!!! The last thing we want to do is chase away our prospects. However I believe in calling it what it is, because you really only want targeted traffic anyway. I like your idea of a “Business Fan Page”. Again, we are the superstars in our businesses…

Diane, I like business fan page too. The real reason we use these pages is to build community and create communication with those who are willing to add value to the networking community…. hmmmmmm, good point, huh? ADDING VALUE TO THE COMMUNITY. I believe this is where I am going to focus instead of “fans”… “community.”

    hmmmmmm :) a
