How to Transfer a Domain

In order to transfer your domain name from one registrar over to another, first you have to set things up on the registrar where the domain is currently hosted in the Domain Manager. In this case Godaddy.
Make sure the administrative contact information is correct. If you want to transfer this domain right away and the admin info is at an active email address, then do not make any changes to it or you will have to wait 60 days before you can transfer that domain.
In the above video, I will show you How to Transfer a Domain From GoDaddy to Bluehost, how to unlock the domain, have Godaddy send you the authorization code by email, go in to your BH Control Panel and choose Transfer Domain, and then walk you through the steps to complete the transfer.
