How to Edit the Slug or Page Permalink in WordPress

If you are using a custom permalink structure on your WordPress site and want to change the URL for an individual post or page, this tutorial will show you how! For example, suppose you have a page called “About Me” and the URL to that page looks like yourdomain.com/about-me/ but you want to change the URL to simply be yourdomain.com/about/ … watch this video to learn how it’s done. Additionally, I’ll show you the solution to a common problem that people have when changing the permalink for a page … the problem of WordPress adding a “-2″ to the end of the permalink.

  1. I am glad I viewed this video on on how to edit the slug or page permalink, Toronto painters is good at painting but need help on fine details like this and believe me this is a good bit of info that I never would have thought about having to delete the trash.
